Knowledge transfer is a critical factor in the success of construction projects, considering the temporary, complex nature of projects and the involvement of multiple stakeholders. Project Managers and project teams play strategic roles in facilitating knowledge sharing within project teams; however, in practice, knowledge transfer in construction projects remains suboptimal, indicating a low level of stakeholder awareness regarding the importance of this process. This study aims to analyze the level of stakeholder awareness concerning knowledge transfer within project teams. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, the study utilizes purposive sampling to select 100 respondents comprising Project Managers and construction project team members in Surabaya. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to illustrate the level of awareness and tendencies in the application of knowledge transfer in the field. The results reveal differences in awareness levels between Project Managers and project teams, as well as a gap between the recognition of the importance of knowledge transfer and its practical implementation. These findings suggest that although project stakeholders understand the significance of knowledge transfer, its application remains inconsistent. This study offers practical implications for construction project management, particularly in enhancing the role of project stakeholders in fostering a knowledge-sharing culture to support project success.
