Design and Build (DB) from various previous literature has been proven to provide advantages compared to Design Bid Build (DBB) including speed of implementation, project risks, design changes and the absence of change orders during project implementation. This study aims to examine what factors influence the partnership of contractors and designers in design and build projects to produce good project performance including cost, quality, time, K3 and environment. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with 50 respondents and processed through SPSS to explore respondents' perceptions, about factors that are considered to influence the partnership of contractors and designers in Design and Build (DB) projects. The respondents came from contractors and consultants who have worked on government projects with design & build project delivery. The results of this study indicate six key factors influencing contractor–designer partnerships in Design and Build projects, including relationship factors, process factors, and environmental factors, with partnership maturity acting as a moderating variable. These factors contribute to improved project performance in terms of cost, quality, time, safety, and environmental aspects. The findings provide practical insights for contractors and designers in strengthening collaboration and readiness for implementing Design and Build project delivery systems.
Achmad Sutowo, Agustinus Purna Irawan, Endah Murtiana Sari, Oei Fuk Jin Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil Cendekia (JTSC) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/413 Wed, 25 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 A STUDY OF FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY OF MOANAMANI MICROHYDRO POWER PLANT (PLTMH) (A CASE STUDY IN EKEMANIDA VILLAGE, MOANAMI DISTRICT, DOGIYAI REGENCY) https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/415
Micro Hydro Power Plants (PLTMH) with a capacity of <1MW are an alternative energy source to replace fossil fuels in remote areas, one of which is the PLTMH in Moanamani Distric, Papua Province, Indonesia, managed by PT. PLN (Ltd). Due to a construction collapse at the dam, the Moanamani Micro Hydro Power Plant is now sustaining damage that is harming other supporting facilities. Given the tight budget in the area, particularly in Dogiyai Regency, the goal of this study is to secure a capital finance and loan plan that can then be discussed by the pertinent stakeholders. This study analyzed the potentials of renewable energy and economic finance of the PLTMH, measuring the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Pay Back Period (PBP), and Break Event Point (BEP). The results showed that the debit of Tuka River could generate at least 65.50 kW of power and an annual energy of 50,546 kWh. The investment value of PLTMH at Moanamani Village was IDR 6,600,000,000, and the Cost of Goods Sold was IDR 336,384/kWh. Based on the economic calculation, the NPV of PLN Ltd was IDR 6,300,000,000, the NPV of the community was IDR 1,987,056,834, the IRR was -1,79%, the BCR was 0.32, the PBP was ± 20 years, and the BEP was ± 50 years. The development project of PLTMH with a funding scheme of 30% equity and 70% loan showed that the project was not financially feasible.
Ira Widyastuti, Paseru R. L, Hery Dualembang, Eka P. This research aims to examine the level of stakeholder awareness regarding knowledge sharing during the design, construction, and operational phases of property projects in Surabaya and to provide recommendations for knowledge management strategies to improve the effectiveness of project memory management. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with purposive sampling technique. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents involved in the project stages. The analysis results show that although the conceptual understanding of knowledge sharing is quite well-known, its implementation in the field is still not optimal. The majority of respondents prefer oral knowledge exchange over written documentation. Additionally, access to and utilization of explicit knowledge stored in digital systems is considered to be still very low. However, existing regulations governing land use planning, road infrastructure, public transport management, transit-oriented development (TOD), and traffic engineering remain fragmented and are not yet systematically integrated into a unified planning framework. This study aims to develop a strategic integration model of five technical regulations to achieve a balanced transportation carrying capacity–environmental capacity system. This research employs a qualitative exploratory comparative method by systematically mapping and analyzing five Indonesian regulatory frameworks: SNI 03-1733-2004, Permen PUPR No. 5/2023, Permenhub No. 96/2015, SK Dirjen Hubdat No. 687/2002, and Permen ATR/BPN No. 16/2017. The analysis identifies eleven key strategic factors influencing integrated transport planning, including population density, infrastructure provision, environmental conditions, accessibility, traffic engineering management, road capacity, land-use slope compatibility, modal classification, and headway standards. The findings reveal regulatory overlap and fragmentation, with no single regulation comprehensively accommodating all strategic factors. Environmental conditions emerge as the least accommodated yet most critical variable influencing system optimization. This study contributes theoretically by proposing a structured regulatory integration model and practically by providing a policy framework for local governments in designing integrated transport systems based on carrying capacity balance principles. The model supports sustainable urban productivity and long-term regional economic resilience.
Tony Kristiawan, Leksmono Suryo Putranto, Haris Muhammadun Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil Cendekia (JTSC) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/453 Wed, 25 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 ZONASI WILAYAH RAWAN BANJIR SUB DAS WAY KANDIS HULU DENGAN PENDEKATAN GEOSPASIAL https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/461
The land used in Bandar Lampung City has changed significantly. The research employed a descriptive–analytical approach using secondary data from the Detail Engineering Design (DED), topographic maps, and Cone Penetration Test (CPT) results, supported by field observations for verification of existing conditions. The results indicate that the site elevation ranges from 144.41 to 146.22 m, with slope gradients between 2.6% and 3.6%, classifying the land as gently sloping and relatively stable for building construction. Geotechnical analysis based on CPT data shows that the soil bearing capacity is sufficient to support a bored pile foundation system. Earthwork analysis reveals a cut volume of 1,339 m³ and a fill volume of 107 m³, resulting in a surplus excavated material of 1,234 m³ that can be technically managed during construction. Direct measurement of rotation using conventional sensors such as Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs) is challenging, as LVDTs are primarily designed to measure translational displacement rather than angular deformation. This study presents the development and calibration of an indirect rotation measurement device based on LVDT displacement conversion using a mechanical wire–roller system. The proposed device converts rotational motion of a horizontal steel member into linear displacement through a steel wire wound around a roller, which is subsequently measured by an LVDT. The calibration was performed within a rotation range of 0°–30° using a 14 mm roller diameter under laboratory-controlled conditions. Calibration was conducted using two approaches: manual rotation measurement with a protractor and controlled loading using a Universal Testing Machine (UTM) equipped with an anglemeter. The results show that calibration performed using UTM loading provides closer agreement with theoretical arc-length calculations, particularly for small rotation angles. The average deviation of the UTM-based calibration relative to theoretical arc-length calculation was ±0.94%, with a maximum deviation of 5.8% at small rotations. The regression model yielded R² = 0.99, indicating excellent linearity. A linear correlation between LVDT displacement and rotation angle was established and adopted as the calibration equation. This study analyzes spatio-temporal land cover change from 1990 to 2021 and evaluates its implications for hydrological risk. Multi-temporal Landsat Collection 2 Level-2 imagery (30 m spatial resolution) for 1990, 2000, and 2011 and Sentinel-2 Level-2A imagery (10 m spatial resolution) for 2021 were processed. Sentinel-2 imagery was resampled to 30 m to ensure spatial consistency. Atmospheric correction and cloud masking were applied using QA bands and Scene Classification Layer (SCL). Supervised classification with the Random Forest algorithm produced an overall accuracy of 87.6% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.84. Built-up land expanded from 8,240.24 ha (23.9%) in 1990 to 29,258.90 ha (86.3%) in 2021, while agricultural and vegetated areas declined substantially. Increasing impervious surfaces reduce infiltration capacity and elevate runoff coefficients, potentially intensifying peak discharge. These findings highlight the importance of integrated watershed-scale planning and infiltration-based urban drainage strategies.
Belicka Yan Oktaria, Atie Tri Juniati, I Nyoman Teguh Prasidha Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil Cendekia (JTSC) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/425 Wed, 25 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 LAND USE CHANGE, WATERSHED DEGRADATION, AND THE ROLE OF NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS IN FLOOD RISK REDUCTION IN THE CIMANDIRI WATERSHED, WEST JAVA, INDONESIA https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/429
Flood occurrence in tropical watershed systems is increasingly linked to structural landscape transformation and declining ecological regulation capacity. In the Cimandiri Watershed of West Java, rapid land conversion over the past three decades has altered hydrological processes and intensified downstream vulnerability. This research investigates long-term land use transitions (1990–2024), evaluates watershed degradation using weighted biophysical indicators, and identifies strategic zones for ecosystem-based flood mitigation. Spatial analysis integrating land use, slope gradient, and critical land status reveals that 42.44% of the watershed area is categorized as moderately to highly degraded. Built-up land expanded almost fourfold during the study period, while forest cover declined substantially, indicating a shift from infiltration-dominated to runoff-dominated hydrological behavior. Areas with elevated degradation levels spatially correspond to zones of recurrent flood exposure in downstream and coastal sectors.

The study proposes targeted implementation of Nature-Based Solutions (NbS), including upstream reforestation, riparian buffer restoration, and downstream retention enhancement, as a complementary strategy to conventional infrastructure. The findings emphasize that flood risk in Cimandiri is a systemic watershed issue shaped by cumulative upstream–downstream interactions rather than isolated local factors
Sandy Lesmana, Atie Trijuniati, I Nyoman Teguh Prasidha Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil Cendekia (JTSC) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/429 Wed, 25 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 KAJIAN LITERATUR KOMPARATIF EFEKTIVITAS INHIBITOR HIJAU BERBASIS EKSTRAK TANAMAN DALAM PENGENDALIAN KOROSI BAJA KARBON https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/431
Corrosion is a metal degradation process caused by chemical or electrochemical reactions between metals and their surrounding environment. This phenomenon leads to significant technical, economic, and environmental losses in various industrial sectors. The use of synthetic corrosion inhibitors that may cause environmental hazards has encouraged the development of environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitors known as green inhibitors derived from natural materials. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of plant-based extracts as corrosion inhibitors for steel through a comparative literature review approach. The research was conducted using a systematic literature review by analyzing 30 scientific articles published between 2015 and 2024 obtained from databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The analysis focused on several parameters including types of natural materials, active compounds, adsorption mechanisms, inhibition efficiency, and optimum concentration. The results show that mangosteen peel (Garcinia mangostana), papaya peel (Carica papaya), and banana peel (Musa paradisiaca) have significant potential as green corrosion inhibitors with inhibition efficiencies reaching 93–95%, 78–83%, and 65–72% respectively. Active compounds such as tannins, flavonoids, pectin, and alkaloids contribute to the formation of a protective adsorption layer on the steel surface that reduces corrosion rate. These findings indicate that natural materials have strong potential as environmentally friendly and sustainable corrosion inhibitors for future industrial applications.
Endah Murtiana Sari, Rahmat Rahmat, Rifo Nur Laksana, Probokusumo Probokusumo Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil Cendekia (JTSC) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/431 Wed, 25 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PENGARUH SISTEM DILATASI TERHADAP KINERJA SEISMIK GEDUNG RUMAH SAKIT 7 LANTAI BERDENAH U https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/467
Syapril Janizar, Muhammad Fauzan Ardillah Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil Cendekia (JTSC) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/467 Wed, 25 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PERENCANAAN INFRASTRUKTUR JALAN DAN DRAINASE KAWASAN PERUMAHAN CLUSTER JATI PADANG, JAKARTA SELATAN https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/493
The development of residential areas in urban regions requires reliable basic infrastructure, particularly neighborhood roads and drainage systems. Poorly planned infrastructure can lead to waterlogging, deterioration of road quality, and reduced comfort and safety for residents. However, previous studies generally address drainage systems and pavement design separately, indicating that integrated infrastructure planning approaches remain limited. This study aims to develop an integrated infrastructure planning for the Jati Padang residential cluster in South Jakarta, including land grading, drainage system design, and pavement planning using paving blocks. The methods employed include hydrological analysis based on rainfall data from the BMKG Halim Perdana Kusuma Station (2009–2018), flood discharge estimation using the Rational Method and Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (HSS) ITB-1, and pavement design based on subgrade CBR values obtained from DCP testing. The novelty of this study lies in the integrated planning approach that combines land grading, hydrological and hydraulic analysis, and pavement design within a single framework based on actual field conditions. The results indicate that the 10-year return period rainfall is 160.67 mm, with a peak discharge of 0.205 m³/s. The designed u-ditch drainage channel (width 0.4 m; height 0.6 m) is capable of accommodating the design discharge, while the paving block pavement is designed based on a CBR value of 5.27%. This planning approach is expected to serve as a reference for developing safe, efficient, and sustainable residential infrastructure.
An An Anisarida, Febrian Febrian, Muhammad Rizky Pratama Janizar Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil Cendekia (JTSC) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/493 Wed, 25 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW OF GREEN BUILDING IMPLEMENTATION FOR IMPROVING ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/412
The application of green building concepts is not only intended to minimize carbon emissions but also to enhance the well being and comfort of building occupants through healthier spatial designs. Although this approach offers multiple advantages, its adoption still encounters several challenges most notably, the substantial initial investment costs and the absence of comprehensive regulatory frameworks, particularly in developing nations. This study aims to evaluate how effectively the sustainable building concept contributes to improving energy performance, conserving natural resources, and mitigating negative environmental impacts. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using a literature study approach. The research encompassed a population of scientific works discussing the implementation of green buildings both within Indonesia and internationally. Samples were selected purposively, focusing on relevance and the recency of the materials. Data were gathered from various secondary sources such as academic journals, textbooks, and institutional reports, and analyzed through thematic synthesis and interpretative techniques to uncover implementation trends, barriers, and sustainability strategies. The findings reveal that applying green building principles can increase energy efficiency by approximately 20–30%, optimize the use of eco friendly materials, and foster a healthier, more comfortable built environment.
Meisy Ariani, Septya Salsalbilla, M. Current supervision practices that rely primarily on visual inspections and conventional methods are considered insufficient for detecting changes in structural behavior in an early and objective manner. This study aims to design an integrated structural monitoring system capable of connecting various types of sensors and generating real-time data to support continuous monitoring and an early warning mechanism. The research method employed is a systematic literature review of recent studies related to structural health monitoring, sensor technologies, and Internet of Things (IoT)-based systems. Based on the review results, an integrated monitoring system architecture, system workflow, and sensor placement strategy for major structural elements and critical areas of the building are developed. The results indicate that the proposed IoT-based system is able to comprehensively represent structural behavior, support early detection of potential risks or initial indications of structural failure, and serve as an initial reference for the development of more reliable and applicable structural monitoring systems.

Keywords: structural monitoring, integrated sensors, IoT, high-rise buildings, construction
Arnold Santoso, Yongki Alexander Tanne Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil Cendekia (JTSC) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.sipilunwim.ac.id/index.php/jtsc/article/view/416 Wed, 25 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000
